Cynhaliwyd seremoni agoriadol swyddogol Sgwâr y Canmlwyddiant ddydd Sul 8fed Gorffennaf 2018, gweinyddol Maer y Dref, y Cynghorydd, gyda chefnogaeth Dirprwy Faer y Dref, a Terry Waite CBE
Hoffai’r Cyngor Tref ddiolch i’r gwaith rhagorol a wnaed gan y contractwyr, GH Jones Ltd. a Mr Mark Knight, y dylunydd, a Mr Huw Crompton, codwr arian, y ddau o Groundwork Manceinion, Salford, Stockport, Tameside a Trafford am y rhagorol dylunio a chefnogi wrth godi’r arian i wneud y cysyniad yn realiti.
Mae Cyngor Tref Llangollen wedi ariannu traean o gostau’r gwaith ac mae’r gweddill wedi’i gefnogi gan gymorth grant gan Ymddiriedolaeth Gymunedol Enovert, Cronfa Gweithredu Cymunedol Cyngor Sir y Fflint – Dryw, Cadw – gwasanaeth amgylchedd hanesyddol Llywodraeth Cymru ac AHNE’s Clwydian Range a Dee Valley Cronfa Datblygu Cynaliadwy yn ogystal â chyfraniadau gan fusnesau, sefydliadau a rhoddwyr preifat lleol.

The Town Council would like to thank the excellent work undertaken by the contractors, GH Jones Ltd. and Mr Mark Knight, the designer, and Mr Huw Crompton, fundraiser, both from of Groundwork Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford for the excellent design and support in raising the funds to make the concept a reality.
Llangollen Town Council have funded a third of the costs of the works and the remainder has been supported by grant aid from Enovert Community Trust, FCC Community Action Fund – Wren, Cadw – the Welsh Government’s historic environment service and the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB’s Sustainable Development Fund as well as contributions from local businesses, organisations and private donors.
